Join us on Thursday, December 5th at 6:00 pm via Zoom for the next installment of our Conservation Talk Series! We will be joined by Melissa MacKelvie, Habitat Biologist for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife - Region 1.
Beavers create essential habitat for native fish species, increase wildfire resistance, and help mitigate drought, but living with them on your property has its own set of challenges. Learn about the key role beavers play in our ecosystem, how we mimic their work in habitat restoration, and ways to coexist with them through the use of pond levelers and beaver deceivers.
Unable to join us for this presentation? The recording will be posted here a week after the presentation.
