DIY Rain Barrel Workshop 04.09.22

Get all the materials and know-how you need to capture and store rainwater to irrigate your lawn and garden!

In collaboration with River Network's Project Rain Barrel, we are offering a DIY Rain Barrel Workshop on Saturday, April 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the PCD Office. This workshop is only open to Whitman County residents. Please do NOT register if you do not reside within Whitman County.

Registration is limited to 25 participants/groups on a first-come, first-served basis. Once registration is full, we will place names on a waitlist; contact Clare at AmeriCorps3@PalouseCD.org to be put on the waitlist.

Participants will assemble their rain barrels with guidance from PCD staff. Plastic primer, paint, and stencils will also be available for those interested in decorating their barrels. Participants are welcome to bring their own art supplies from home to use on their barrels, as well.

There is a $10 non-refundable registration fee. Once you register, your spot and all materials will be held. The $10 fee goes towards purchasing materials and other financial support for this workshop. If you are unable to pay the registration fee, you may use the promo code PCDRAIN at checkout to waive the registration fee, no questions asked.

Registered participants will be contacted by email ahead of the workshop with an event reminder.

This workshop is limited to 25 participants or groups. One barrel per registration; limit of one barrel per household.

If you register and are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we may open your spot and materials up to another participant. Unfortunately, we are not able to refund registration fees.
