Join Palouse Conservation District and the WSU Organic Farm for an irrigation tour on Thursday, July 13th from 8 - 10 am! The 10-acre WSU Eggert Family Organic Farm produces vegetables and tree fruit and provides space for research. Learn from Brad Jaeckel, Farm Manager, about how the farm uses drip and micro-irrigation strategies to increase production, conserve water, and limit weeds. There will also be an opportunity to ask for advice and any questions you may have about setting up your own system.
Closed-toe shoes are required. Please plan to bring your own water, hat, and sunscreen. There are no pets allowed.
