Palouse Conservation District

Updated: Feb 4

Join us on Thursday, February 13th at 6:00 pm via Zoom for the next installment of our Conservation Talk Series! This presentation will be led by Shannon Collins, Palouse Prairie Project Manager with The Phoenix Conservancy, and Lauren Kirkpatrick, Conservation Coordinator at PCD.

This talk will explore the benefits of landscaping with native plants. We'll highlight species available at our upcoming Tree Sale and discuss how incorporating native plants can enhance both aesthetic and ecological value. The session will also cover the importance of native riparian and upland species for landscape restoration, offering practical insights for local land managers, residents, and interested backyard conservationists.

Unable to join us for this presentation? The recording will be posted here a week after the presentation.
