Palouse CD has funding available to assist with direct seeding or cover cropping on your operation!
Are you interested in implementing these soil health-friendly practices on your farm? We have funding and technical assistance available for direct seed or cover crop beginning in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025. Practices are reimbursed at $30 per acre. Maximum 250 acres for direct seed and 30 acres for cover crop. Producers must commit to a three-year contract and must operate within Whitman County to be eligible. Special priority will be granted to producers operating within the Spring Flat Creek Watershed.
